The photo above is one of three plaques in the church that list the ministers who have served Ashby First Parish since the late 1700s.

An old postcard of Ashby Common showing the church. The sheds on the left of the church were recently restored. The sheds on the right are long gone. The gazebo still stands. The generation of trees shown in the card, many of which are ashes, are now dying off and are slowly being replaced.

Dorothy Wilder, A long-time member of Ashby First Parish, researched the history of the church and in 1967 published the booklet which is reproduced below. The document may not load on some cell phones but should be viewable on computers.
