Music for services is usually provided by members of the congregation, and typically alternates between a string band trio called the Lizards in the Hayloft and a Berklee-trained jazz pianist. Peter Fischman and Deb O’Hanlon frequently contribute vocal/guitar duets. You never know what you’ll hear!
Cedwyn Morgan is the church’s music director.

The church organ was built in Ashby by the Jonas P. Whitney family in Ashby, and was installed in the 1850. A restoration of the organ to good playing condition was completed by the Andover Organ Company in 2025. It is believed that our organ is the the only remaining Whitney pipe organ still in use. The restoration of the organ was celebrated with a concert by Wesley Harrison Hall in May 2025. A video of the concert be seen at the bottom of this page. The church does not have a regular organist but we will make sure that the organ continues to be used.

2025 also found the church needing a new piano, as the old upright in the sanctuary was no longer in playable condition. A 1917 Steinert grand had been languishing downstairs in the social hall in barely playable condition for decades. Piano tech Bill Faller inspected the piano and advised that it was well worth restoring. Bill replaced the keyboard, cleaned the strings and made all the necessary adjustments and improvements, and the result is that we have a “new” piano in the sanctuary with beautiful sound. The piano was celebrated in by a performance in October 2025 by Ivan Gusev playing music by Chopin. A video of the concert is below.
